The Partaker R9 is a 19-inch 1U rackmount network appliance built around an Intel Core i3 3220 processor on a B75 chipset. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 128 GB mSATA SSD, plus six Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports driven by 82574L or 82583V controllers. A 150 W internal power supply supports 100-240 V operation.

Who this suits and who it does not

The R9 fits small-business or branch-office deployments that run pfSense, OPNsense or Untangle on FreeBSD or Linux and need six copper ports in a shallow 430 x 270 x 50 mm chassis. It is not for buyers who require AES-NI acceleration, more than 32 GB of RAM, 2.5 GbE or 10 GbE interfaces, or a platform that supports newer instruction-set extensions.

Confirm that your rack or wall-mount space accommodates the 1U height and 270 mm depth, and that the 150 W PSU matches your power distribution. Ensure the operating system you plan to install supports the i3 3220 without AES-NI and that the six RJ-45 ports satisfy your WAN/LAN segmentation needs.
