The Partaker R9 is a 19-inch 1U rackmount network appliance built around an Intel Core i7-3770 processor on a B75 chipset. It ships with 4 GB of DDR3 memory and a 64 GB mSATA SSD, plus six Intel Gigabit LAN ports driven by 82574L, 82583V or I211 controllers. The platform targets administrators deploying pfSense, OPNsense, Untangle or other FreeBSD- and Linux-based router distributions.

Sustained throughput behaviour

Forwarding traffic through the six Gigabit interfaces reaches a measured 1000 Mbps LAN-to-WAN rate, so the box maintains line-rate performance under continuous load rather than only in short bursts.
