White Edge Protectors for Shipping

These white edge protectors measure 2 inches by 2 inches by 18 inches with a .160 thickness. They are designed to shield package corners and edges from strap tension and impact damage during transit. The product suits shippers, warehouses, and mailrooms that need reliable corner reinforcement.

Easy Case Dispensing and Fit

The protectors come cased in a 200-count package for convenient storage and dispensing on packing lines. Installation simply requires sliding a protector over each vulnerable corner before applying strapping or wrap. The main issue arises if the .160 thickness is insufficient for heavy loads or if the 18-inch length does not match the carton height.

Consistent Protection Under Pressure

Under sustained load from tightened straps or stacked pallets, the .160 material maintains its shape to distribute force across the corner. It resists crushing better than thinner alternatives during long hauls or multi-tier stacking. The protectors are not for applications needing heavier gauge board or lengths beyond 18 inches.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the .160 thickness edge protectors are doing their job after packing?

After setup, check that the 2" x 2" x 18" protectors sit flush on each corner with no gaps; the white cased board should resist bending when you press the carton edges, showing the .160 caliper is holding its shape.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The carton contains 200 white cased edge protectors measuring 2" x 2" x 18" at .160 caliper; you will need to provide strapping, stretch film or tape to secure them around your packages.

Which version should I choose for standard pallet corners?

The 2" x 2" x 18" .160 white cased protector (model reference 2218160) is the single version offered, sized for typical pallet and carton corners.
