Kraft mailing tubes for document shipping

These 20-inch Kraft mailing tubes ship rolled documents, blueprints and artwork without creasing. Fifty tubes per pack supply a mailroom or small business for routine dispatch. Caps included on each tube keep contents secure during transit. The pack suits offices that send flat items regularly.

Upgrade from makeshift packaging

Switching from improvised boxes or reused tubes eliminates crushed corners and lost caps. The jump is worth it when shipping volume reaches a level where consistent protection reduces damage claims. Standardised length also speeds packing time compared with cutting custom tubes per shipment. Uniform tubes stack neatly on shelves and in courier bags.

Limits of the 20-inch length

Documents longer than 20 inches cannot fit without folding, which defeats the purpose of a tube. The fixed diameter restricts rolled bundles to a maximum thickness that the caps can close. Heavy or dense rolls may stress the cap seal during handling. Very high-volume shippers will reorder the 50-count pack frequently.

Questions about this item

Will the 2 inch diameter tubes fit standard document sizes?

The 2 inch diameter accommodates rolled documents and prints up to 20 inches long, suitable for blueprints and posters.

How do the end caps secure during shipping?

Caps press onto each tube end; the step often missed is seating both caps fully so they cannot slide off in transit.

When should I replace the kraft tubes?

Replace tubes if the kraft walls show crushing, moisture damage, or if caps no longer hold tightly after repeated use.
