Purpose-built Mailing Tubes

These white mailing tubes measure 2-1/2 inches by 12 inches and ship as a pack of 34 with caps included. They suit offices and shippers who need rigid, lightweight containers for rolled documents, posters or blueprints. The simple design keeps packing fast and storage tidy.

Capacity and Headroom

Each tube holds items up to 12 inches long within a 2-1/2 inch diameter, giving enough room for standard architectural prints or rolled artwork. The fixed length means oversized maps or bundled fabric rolls will not fit. The 34-count pack covers routine weekly volume but runs out quickly during peak mailing seasons.

Practical Limits

The cardboard construction protects against bending but offers no moisture barrier or crush-proof rating for heavy stacking. Caps press on securely yet can pop off if the tube is overstuffed or dropped on a corner. For high-value or fragile originals, additional inner sleeves or outer boxes are advisable.

Questions about this item

Will the 2-1/2 inch diameter tubes fit the 12 inch posters I already store in my cabinet?

Each tube measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter and 12 inches long, so standard 12 inch posters roll inside without trimming.

How can I confirm the white caps stay secure during transit after I pack the tubes?

Press each cap firmly until it seats flush with the tube end; a snug fit and no visible gap show the closure is working as intended.

The pack lists 34 tubes — does that include both the white tubes and the matching caps, or must I buy caps separately?

The PK34 package contains 34 white mailing tubes with caps already supplied, so no extra caps are required.
