Shipping Tubes for Long Documents

White mailing tubes measuring three inches by forty-two inches come in a pack of twenty-four. Each tube includes protective end caps to keep contents secure during transit. The rigid construction suits rolled blueprints, posters or artwork that must stay flat.

Condition on Arrival

Supplied new and ready to use straight from the carton. The smooth white exterior resists scuffs and accepts handwritten labels or adhesive stickers without special preparation. Caps press on firmly and stay in place through normal handling.

Pack Quantity Decides Fit

The twenty-four-count package determines whether the order matches your mailing volume. Buyers who need fewer tubes or a different diameter will find this pack unsuitable.

Questions about this item

How do I secure the caps on the 3 x 42 in tubes so contents don't slide out?

Press each white cap firmly onto the tube end until it seats fully; the friction fit holds during transit, but skipping the full press is the step that lets caps pop off.

Will the white cardboard tubes or caps need replacement after repeated shipping cycles?

The tubes are single-use cardboard; after one shipment they can crush or absorb moisture, so plan to replace the entire 24-pack for the next mailing batch.

At what length do the 42 in tubes start to bow when stood upright with heavy documents inside?

At the full 42 in length the tube walls can flex under dense loads; reinforcing with an inner cardboard sleeve or laying the tube flat prevents permanent bowing.
