Partners Brand P4018K Mailing Tubes

These Partners Brand P4018K mailing tubes are designed for shipping documents, blueprints or posters that must stay flat. Each tube measures 4 inches by 18 inches and comes with protective end caps. The kraft construction provides rigid protection during transit. They suit offices, architects or artists sending rolled artwork.

Thermals noise and power draw

As passive packaging supplies, these tubes generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power during use or storage. Their kraft material insulates contents from minor temperature fluctuations in transit. No electrical connection or cooling is required. Performance depends only on proper sealing of the supplied caps.

Pack of fifteen tubes and caps

The pack contains fifteen tubes and fifteen matching caps, giving a ready-to-use set for batch mailing. No extra accessories or software are included. The quantity supports regular shipping schedules without frequent reordering. Users simply insert items, fit the caps and apply postage.

Questions about this item

How do I secure the caps on the 4 x 18 mailing tubes so they do not come loose during shipping?

Press each plastic cap firmly onto the tube end until it seats flush; the friction fit holds without tape, but verify the cap cannot rotate before dropping the parcel in the box.

When will the kraft tubes or their caps need replacement if I store them for future use?

Replace any tube that shows crushing, moisture stains, or a cap that no longer grips tightly; the kraft material degrades with humidity and repeated handling.

What is the first limitation I will hit when packing heavy documents into these 18-inch tubes day after day?

The 4-inch diameter caps rely on friction alone, so over-filled or heavy rolls can push the caps off — that seal failure appears before the tube wall buckles.
