Flat poly bags for shipping and storage

These clear polyethylene bags measure 20 by 20 inches with a 4 mil thickness and come in a pack of 250. They suit businesses that need a lightweight, transparent enclosure for flat items such as documents, clothing or small parts.

Practical limits of single-layer polyethylene

The 4 mil wall resists punctures and tears during normal handling but will stretch or split under heavy loads or sharp edges. The open top requires heat sealing, tape or a twist tie to close, adding a manual step to every parcel.

Build quality and daily use implications

The material meets California Proposition 65 disclosure requirements for listed chemicals. Supplied flat, the bags stack compactly on a shelf and dispense one at a time, keeping packing stations tidy for high-volume shippers.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 20 x 20 inch size or a different dimension for my packing needs?

The PB1270 bags measure 20 inches by 20 inches and come in a pack of 250; select this size when your items fit within those dimensions and you need a bulk quantity.

What does the 4 mil thickness mean for everyday shipping use?

At 4 mil the polyethylene film resists punctures and tears better than thinner bags, protecting contents during transit while staying flexible enough to seal easily.

Are these flat poly bags compatible with standard heat sealers or impulse sealers?

Yes, the clear polyethylene material works with common heat-sealing equipment, letting you create a tamper-evident closure for each of the 250 bags.
