Clear gusseted poly bags for shipping

These clear gusseted poly bags are designed for packing and shipping a variety of items. The gusseted sides expand to accommodate bulkier contents while the 1.5 mil thickness provides reliable strength. Each pack contains 1000 bags for high-volume use.

Thin polyethylene construction keeps weight low

At 1.5 mil the material adds minimal weight to shipments and helps control postage costs. The smooth clear surface allows easy label adhesion and content identification. No special handling or equipment is required during normal packing operations.

Flat storage frees up shelf space

Supplied flat in a 1000-count package, the bags stack neatly on shelves or in dispensers. They work with standard impulse sealers, twist ties or tape for closure. Orders of $75 or more ship free from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

How do I open and load items into these 4" x 2" x 8" gusseted bags without tearing the 1.5 mil sides?

Hold the bag upright, pinch the centre of the gusset to pop the bottom panel flat, then slide the product in from the top; forcing the corners before the gusset is fully expanded is the step that rips the film.

Will the 1.5 mil polyethylene degrade or need replacing if the bags are stored for a long period before use?

Kept in the original carton away from direct sunlight and heat, the clear poly stays flexible for years; brittleness only appears after prolonged UV exposure or extreme temperatures.

At what weight do these 1.5 mil gusseted bags start to split under sustained load?

The 1.5 mil film is rated for light‑duty contents; loads heavier than a few kilograms stress the bottom seal and side seams first, causing the bag to give way at the gusset fold.
