Poly Bags for Shipping

The Partners Brand PB1549 poly bags supply 1000 clear sleeves sized at 6 x 3 x 20 inches with a 2 mil thickness. They suit mailrooms, e-commerce packers and light industrial users who need a high-volume, see-through barrier for flat or folded items. The bulk pack keeps per-unit cost low for daily dispatch workflows.

Capacity and Headroom

Each bag measures 20 inches long by 6 inches wide with a 3 inch gusset, giving room for documents, apparel or boxed goods up to that envelope. The 2 mil film resists casual tears but will puncture under sharp edges or heavy loads, so it is not suited for abrasive parts or overweight parcels.

Deciding Specification

The 2 mil gauge is the single figure that determines suitability; it balances clarity and economy but lacks the puncture strength of 3 mil or 4 mil alternatives. Buyers who need tamper-evident seals, zip closures or heavier-duty protection must choose a different specification.

Questions about this item

Will the 6 x 3 x 20 in bags fit the same boxes I already use for shipping?

The bags measure 6 by 3 by 20 inches, so they suit cartons that accept those dimensions; check your box interior before ordering.

How can I confirm the 2 mil thickness is right for my packing line?

The 2 mil gauge is printed on the carton label; run a few test packs and verify seal strength and tear resistance match your process.

Does the 1000-count case include a dispenser or must I buy one separately?

The case contains 1000 clear poly bags only; no dispenser, wicket, or closure ties are supplied.
