Flat Poly Bags 10 x 24 Inch

These clear flat poly bags measure 10 inches by 24 inches with a 1 mil thickness. They are sold in a pack of 1000 for high-volume shipping and mailing operations. The transparent material allows quick visual identification of contents during processing.

Upgrade From Smaller Or Thinner Bags

Switching to this 10 by 24 inch size accommodates larger documents, catalogues or flat products that do not fit in standard letter envelopes. The 1 mil gauge provides a step up in tear resistance compared to lighter films when handling heavier inserts. The jump is worth it when your current bags split at the seams or require double-bagging.

Fits Into Mailroom Workflows

The flat open-top design works with heat sealers, tape dispensers or twist ties for fast closure on packing benches. A 1000-count case reduces reorder frequency and keeps the supply station stocked during peak dispatch periods. Clear construction lets barcode scanners read labels through the film without opening the package. Not for buyers who need padded protection, rigid mailers or moisture-barrier films.

Questions about this item

What size heat sealer or bag sealer is needed for the 10-inch opening?

A sealer with at least a 10-inch sealing bar is required to close the full width of the 10x24 inch bag.

What is the common mistake when loading these 1 mil bags into a dispenser?

Overfilling the dispenser causes the thin 1 mil film to stick together and multi-feed, so load only one pack at a time.

How should the remaining 1000-count supply be stored to prevent the clear film from degrading?

Keep the carton in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight and heat sources to avoid embrittlement of the polyethylene.
