Product Identity

Partners Brand PB2405 flat poly bags are clear polyethylene mailers sized at 16 by 20 inches. They come in a bulk pack of 1000 units for high-volume shipping operations. Warehouses and fulfilment centres use them to protect lightweight goods during transit. The bags arrive new and ready for immediate packing.

Critical Specification

Each bag is constructed from 1 mil thick film, which determines the puncture resistance and clarity for the contents inside. Buyers who need heavier-duty protection for sharp or heavy items cannot meet that need with this gauge. The single-mil thickness is the deciding factor for whether the bag suits the product being shipped.

Build Integration

The flat design allows the bags to stack compactly on packing stations and feed easily into automatic baggers. They require a separate heat sealer, tape or twist ties to close once filled. Using these bags frees up shelf space compared to rigid boxes and reduces dimensional weight charges for soft goods.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space does a 1000-count case of 16 x 20 poly bags typically occupy?

A full case of 1000 flat bags measuring 16 by 20 inches will need roughly the same footprint as the bags themselves, plus a small margin for the carton, so plan for at least 16 by 20 inches of shelf depth.

What does the 1 mil thickness mean for everyday packing tasks?

At 1 mil the bags are light-duty; they protect clean parts from dust and moisture but will tear if stretched over sharp edges or heavy items.

Are these bags marked for Proposition 65 compliance?

Yes, the packaging carries the California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
