Poly Bags for Large-Format Shipping

Partners Brand PB2456 flat poly bags measure 48 inches by 48 inches and come in a clear 1 mil thickness. The pack contains 250 bags suited for high-volume mailroom or warehouse operations. Buyers who need smaller dimensions or heavier gauge film will need a different product.

Limits of 1 Mil Polyethylene Film

At 1 mil the material provides basic dust and moisture coverage but offers minimal puncture resistance for sharp or heavy items. The flat, open-top design requires separate sealing such as tape or heat equipment. It is not rated for prolonged outdoor exposure or load-bearing applications.

Pack Quantity Determines Suitability

The 250-count package sets the minimum order scale for this SKU. Operations that process fewer shipments may find the volume excessive, while high-throughput lines can replenish less frequently. California Proposition 65 notices apply to this product.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 48 x 48 inch size or a smaller bag?

Choose 48 x 48 inch bags when you need to cover large, flat items such as pallets or furniture; smaller bags suit smaller parcels.

What does the 1 mil thickness mean for everyday use?

At 1 mil the film is lightweight, suited for dust protection and light-duty wrapping rather than heavy or sharp loads.

Are these bags compatible with standard heat sealers?

Yes, the clear polyethylene works with common impulse or constant-heat sealers used for poly bagging.
