Partners Brand PB3585BK Reclosable Poly Bag

The Partners Brand PB3585BK is a reclosable poly bag supplied in a pack of 1000. Transparent construction lets users identify contents quickly. It suits warehouses, mailrooms and small businesses that need reliable everyday packaging for shipping or storage.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive packaging product the bags generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power. They add negligible weight to shipments and require no energy to operate. Performance is unaffected by temperature or humidity in normal indoor environments.

Build fit and system needs

Each bag measures 8 inches long by 5 inches wide with a 2 mil thickness and a resealable closure. The flat design stacks compactly on shelves or in cartons freeing up storage space. No special equipment is needed to use them though they are not suited for heavy or sharp items that could puncture the film.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the 2 mil reclosable poly bag correctly, and what step do people often miss?

Press the zipper tracks together firmly along the full 8 inch length; the step many miss is removing trapped air before the final press so the seal locks flat.

Will the zipper on these 2 mil bags wear out and need replacement during regular packing use?

The zipper is moulded into the 2 mil film and rated for repeated opening and closing; under normal packing volumes it lasts the life of the bag without separate replacement.

What is the first limit I hit when loading these 5 by 8 inch bags continuously at a busy station?

Operator fatigue from repetitive sealing motions appears before the 1000 count pack runs out; the bag material and zipper do not impose an earlier hard stop.
