20" x 16" Reclosable Poly Bags

Partners Brand PB3924 bags are transparent reclosable poly bags measuring 20 inches long by 16 inches wide. Each bag has an 8 mil thickness for puncture resistance. The pack contains 250 bags for high-volume shipping or storage needs. Small businesses and warehouses use them to organise and protect parts during fulfilment.

Practical limits of the reclosable seal

The press-to-close seal can be opened and closed repeatedly without tools. It keeps dust and moisture out during transit but is not rated for vacuum or pressure differentials. The 8 mil film resists tears from sharp edges better than thinner bags. Very heavy or sharp items may still stress the closure beyond its design.

Replaces single-use poly bags and tape

These bags replace open poly bags that require heat sealing or tape, cutting packing time per order. The jump is worth it when you pack dozens of orders a day and need reusable access for quality checks. They are not suited for buyers who need tamper-evident security seals or sterile medical packaging.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16 x 20 inch 8 mil bags or a different thickness for heavier items?

The 8 mil thickness on these 16 x 20 inch bags provides a heavy-duty barrier suitable for sharp or bulky contents, while the reclosable seal allows repeated access without tape.

How much can I actually fit inside a 20 x 16 inch 8 mil poly bag?

Each bag opens to a full 20 inches long by 16 inches wide, so it accommodates large flat items such as clothing bundles, documents or boxed parts up to those planar dimensions.

Does the reclosable closure meet any specific sealing standard for shipping?

The integral press-seal track creates a secure, repeatable closure that stays shut during transit, but no industry sealing standard is referenced for this product.
