18 x 20 inch flat poly bags for bulk shipping

These clear polyethylene bags measure 18 by 20 inches with a 2 mil thickness. They arrive in a pack of 500 units under the Partners Brand PB586 label. The bags suit operations that need high-volume, lightweight packaging for non-fragile items.

Practical limits of 2 mil polyethylene

At 2 mil the material resists dust and moisture but will tear under sharp edges or heavy loads. The open top requires heat sealing, tape or twist ties for closure. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the film contains chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

Build quality and daily handling

The clear film lets staff verify contents without opening each bag. Flat storage keeps 500 units compact on a shelf or packing station. Dispensing single bags is straightforward, though the thin gauge demands care to avoid accidental rips during fast packing.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 18 x 20 inch size and other dimensions?

The 18 x 20 inch flat poly bag suits items needing that exact footprint; pick a different width or length only if your contents require a larger or smaller envelope.

What does the 2 mil thickness mean when the bag is in use?

At 2 mil the bag resists punctures and tears during handling while staying light enough for economical shipping.

Which standard governs the Proposition 65 warning on this product?

California Proposition 65 requires the warning because the bag contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
