4-Inch Clear Poly Tubing Roll

This 4-inch wide clear poly tubing comes in a continuous 1075-foot roll at a 4-mil thickness. It suits shipping departments, mailrooms and fulfilment operations that need custom-length bags for irregular items. The transparent material lets staff identify contents without opening the package.

Replaces Pre-Sized Bag Stock

Cut-to-length tubing replaces shelves of pre-made bags in multiple sizes, reducing inventory SKUs and eliminating the guesswork of matching bag dimensions to odd-shaped products. The jump is worth it when order profiles vary daily and fixed-size bags leave either wasted space or items that do not fit.

Integrates With Impulse Sealers

The roll feeds directly into standard impulse heat sealers, so operators cut, fill and seal in one workflow without additional tooling. Clear film keeps barcodes and labels readable after sealing, and the flat roll stores compactly on a shelf or dispenser rack.

Questions about this item

What diameter heat-sealer jaws are required for the 4-inch wide PT0404 tubing?

A sealer with at least a 4-inch jaw width is needed to seal the full 4-inch lay-flat width of this PT0404 poly tubing.

How do you load the 1075-foot roll onto a typical desktop dispenser without the core slipping?

Slide the roll onto the dispenser mandrel so the cardboard core seats firmly against the retaining flange; the most common error is leaving the core loose, which causes uneven feed and wasted film.

When should the remaining roll be replaced if the 4-mil film starts tearing at the seal line?

Replace the roll when the 4-mil thickness shows consistent splitting or pinholes along the heat seal, indicating the material has become brittle from age or UV exposure.
