Partners Brand PT1002 poly tubing 10 in x 2150 ft 2 mil clear

Product identity

Partners Brand PT1002 is a clear polyethylene tube supplied on a continuous roll. It measures ten inches in lay-flat width and provides two mil thickness for general-purpose packaging tasks. Warehouse teams, mailrooms and light-industrial packers use it to create custom-length bags for irregular items.

Replaces and upgrades

The roll replaces pre-made poly bags when order profiles vary widely and stock-keeping of multiple sizes becomes inefficient. Switching is worthwhile when packers need to seal odd lengths on demand and can justify the equipment for heat or impulse sealing. Operations that ship only uniform cartons will not benefit from the added handling step.

Practical limits

The two mil wall thickness limits puncture resistance, so sharp or heavy contents risk tears unless wrapped first. Ten inch lay-flat width restricts the maximum object diameter to roughly six inches before the tube must be slit and re-sealed. The 2150 foot length suits high-volume lines but demands adequate dispensing space and a compatible sealer to avoid bottlenecks.
