24 Inch Width Poly Tubing

This continuous clear poly tubing measures 24 inches wide and 1075 feet long at a 4 mil thickness. It is supplied on a single roll for custom-length bagging. The flat layout suits manual or automatic heat-sealing equipment. Shippers and mailrooms use it to wrap irregular or oversized items quickly.

Lightweight Material Low Resistance

The 4 mil polyethylene film adds minimal weight to parcels and unwinds with low drag on dispensers. Clear construction lets barcodes and labels remain visible after sealing. No special ventilation or power is required during normal packing operations. The roll handles easily by hand or on a standard tubing rack.

Replaces Pre-Sized Bags For Variable Loads

Users who currently stock multiple bag sizes can cut exact lengths from this roll to match each shipment. The jump is worthwhile when parcel dimensions vary widely or when inventory space for assorted bags is limited. Buyers needing pre-sealed bottoms or zipper closures will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I cut and seal the 24-inch wide poly tubing to make custom-length bags?

Measure the needed length, cut straight across the 24-inch width with a sharp utility knife or scissors, then heat-seal both ends using an impulse sealer; the common mistake is cutting at an angle, which leaves a weak seal that splits under load.

Will the 4-mil thickness hold up for long-term storage or does it degrade?

The 4-mil clear polyethylene resists punctures and moisture for typical shipping cycles; for multi-year storage, keep rolls away from direct sunlight and heat sources to slow UV embrittlement.

At what point does the 1075-foot roll become difficult to handle during high-volume packing?

A full roll weighs enough that one person struggles to lift and dispense it cleanly; mounting it on a horizontal rod or tubing dispenser prevents tangling and reduces operator fatigue during sustained use.
