24-Inch Clear Poly Tubing

This 24-inch wide clear poly tubing comes on a 725-foot roll at 6 mil thickness. It suits shipping departments and mailrooms that need continuous lengths for custom bag sizes. The transparent material allows quick visual identification of contents without opening the package.

6 Mil Thickness for Puncture Resistance

The 6 mil gauge provides a balance of flexibility and tear resistance for general-purpose packaging. Thinner films risk splits on sharp edges while heavier gauges add unnecessary bulk and cost for lightweight items.

Flat Lay Storage and Low Waste

Supplied as lay-flat tubing on a single roll, it stores compactly on shelves and cuts to exact lengths with a heat sealer or tape. No perforations or pre-made bags means zero off-cut waste for irregular shipments.

Questions about this item

How much tubing do I actually get from the 725 ft roll once I cut bags to length?

The roll provides 725 continuous feet of 24-inch-wide tubing; every inch you cut becomes one open-ended bag, so total bag count equals 725 divided by your chosen bag length in feet.

What sealing methods work with the 6 mil polyethylene material?

Standard impulse heat sealers, bar sealers or validated shrink-wrap equipment all bond the 6 mil film reliably; no special coating or surface treatment is required.

Will the 24-inch lay-flat width fit on our existing roll holder and through our heat-sealer jaws?

The tubing measures 24 inches lay-flat, so any holder or sealer rated for at least 24-inch-wide film will accept it without modification.
