Product Identity

Partners Brand S1518K tubes are crimped-end mailing containers made from Kraft paper. Each tube measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter by 18 inches long and the pack contains 70 pieces. They arrive new and are intended for shipping or storing rolled documents and similar items.

Suitable Uses

These tubes suit offices, artists or shippers who need a bulk supply of lightweight protective sleeves for rolled prints, plans or posters. They are not suited for buyers who need sealed ends, adjustable lengths or a smaller quantity than the 70-count pack.

Deciding Specification

The critical detail is the fixed 18 inch length combined with the crimped-end closure. If your items exceed that length or require a different sealing method, this pack will not work.

Questions about this item

How do I close the crimped ends on these 1-1/2 x 18 in tubes after inserting my documents?

The ends are pre-crimped during manufacturing; simply fold the remaining flaps inward and seal with packing tape for a secure closure.

Will the Kraft cardboard hold up if I need to store rolled plans for several months?

The rigid spiral-wound construction resists crushing and moisture absorption, keeping contents protected during long-term flat or upright storage.

At what point does the 1-1/2 in diameter become too tight for larger blueprints?

Documents exceeding roughly 1-3/8 in rolled diameter will crease or bind, so use a wider tube for thick sets or heavyweight paper.
