Partners Brand S3048K Mailing Tubes

These crimped-end mailing tubes measure 3 inches by 48 inches and come in a pack of 24. They are designed for shipping or storing rolled documents, posters, blueprints and similar flat items that must not be folded. The Kraft construction provides a rigid, protective shell for transit.

Suited for offices, warehouses

Buyers who need tubes with a different diameter, length or wall thickness should look elsewhere. These tubes are not intended for heavy or sharp objects that could puncture the ends. Anyone requiring plastic caps, telescoping adjustment or waterproof lining will need a different product.

Simple to use with crimped ends already sealed

One end stays closed while you load the contents, then the open end is crimped or taped shut. The main issue is ensuring the crimp is tight enough so the tube does not reopen during handling. Overstuffing can distort the tube and weaken the seal.

Questions about this item

What size documents fit inside a 3-inch diameter tube?

The tube accepts rolled sheets up to three inches across; standard architectural prints and posters roll to that width without creasing.

Can I stack these tubes on a shelf with my older 2-inch mailers?

The larger diameter means they need more shelf depth, but the flat crimped ends keep stacks stable alongside smaller tubes.

How do I confirm the crimped ends are sealed before shipping?

Press each end — a properly crimped tube resists reopening and shows no gap along the folded edge.
