Partners Brand THT136 Thermal Transfer Printer Ribbon 5.98" W 1345' L Black PK12

What this ribbon is and who needs it

This Partners Brand THT136 thermal transfer ribbon pack contains twelve black wax rolls. Each roll measures 5.98 inches wide by 1345 feet long. It suits operations that print high volumes of barcode labels, shipping tags or product identifiers on compatible thermal transfer printers.

Practical limits of wax thermal transfer

Wax formulations require lower printhead heat than resin or wax-resin blends, which speeds output but limits durability. Printed images resist moderate handling yet can smudge under abrasion, solvent exposure or prolonged outdoor conditions. The 1345-foot length reduces roll changes during long print runs.

Installation notes and common issues

Rolls load onto standard 1-inch cores used by many desktop and industrial thermal transfer printers. Ensure the ribbon unwind direction matches the printer specification; reversed winding causes immediate feed errors. Verify the 5.98-inch width fits the printhead span — narrower ribbons leave unprinted edges, wider ones cannot load. Check that the printer’s maximum roll diameter accommodates the full 1345-foot length before starting a job.
