Darkroom Print Squeegee

The Paterson Photographic RC Print Squeegee removes excess water from both sides of resin-coated photographic prints. Its 9-inch soft rubber blades prevent surface damage while promoting rapid, even drying. This tool is intended for photographers processing RC paper in a darkroom environment. It is not suited for users who need a squeegee for fibre-based papers or large-format sheets exceeding the blade width.

Single-Unit Accessory

Each pack contains one squeegee ready for immediate use. No additional cleaning fluids, drying racks or mounting hardware are included. The simple one-piece construction means there are no replaceable blades or adjustable components to configure.

Questions about this item

When will the rubber blades on this 9in Paterson squeegee need replacing?

The soft rubber blades wear down with repeated contact across resin-coated prints. Replace them when they no longer clear water evenly or leave streaks, which typically occurs after several hundred sheets depending on pressure and paper texture.

What limits continuous use of this Paterson RC Print Squeegee?

Hand fatigue from the repetitive wiping motion is the first practical limit. The 9in blade covers a wide area per pass, but prolonged sessions strain the wrist before the rubber itself degrades or the handle loosens.
