What this drum unit replaces

This is a new black imaging drum rated for 12000 pages. It replaces the Brother DR-420 original unit and fits the compatible printers listed below. The part is sold as a single drum without toner included.

Printers that fit — and those that do not

It fits Brother DCP-7060D, DCP-7065DN, HL-2220, HL-2230, HL-2240, HL-2240D, HL-2242D, HL-2250DN, HL-2270DW, HL-2280DW, MFC-7360N, MFC-7460DN and MFC-7860DW. Owners of other Brother models or non-Brother printers should look for the drum specified for their machine.

The specification that decides fit

The decisive figure is the 12000 page yield rating matched to the DR-420 part number. If your printer requires a different yield or a different OEM drum code, this unit will not work.
