Which Brother printer models accept the TN-660-PCI cartridge?

The cartridge fits Brother DCP-L2500, DCP-L2520, DCP-L2540, DCP-L2560, HL-L2300, HL-L2320, HL-L2340, HL-L2360, HL-L2365, HL-L2380, MFC-L2700, MFC-L2720 and MFC-L2740 printers.

Will the cartridge work in an older Brother HL-L2300 that I already own?

How can I confirm the cartridge is printing correctly after installation?
