Lavalier Microphone for Sennheiser Wireless Systems

This omnidirectional lavalier microphone serves as a direct replacement for Sennheiser ME2 and ME3 capsules on EW100, EW300, EW500 and G1 through G3 transmitter packs. Content creators, interviewers and presenters gain a wearable clip-on mic with a 60 decibel signal-to-noise ratio for clear speech capture.

Verify Your Transmitter Uses a 3.5 mm TRS Input

Confirm that your wireless bodypack or recorder accepts a 3.5 mm TRS jack with a threaded locking collar. The gold-plated plug screws down for a secure connection, so the host device must provide the matching threaded socket. No adapter is included for devices with proprietary mini-XLR or TA4F ports.

Metal Clip and Five-Foot Cable for Daily Wear

A metal alligator clip grips lapels, collars or headset booms without slipping during movement. The five-foot cable routes easily under clothing to the belt-pack transmitter while the supplied foam windscreen reduces breath pops and wind noise in outdoor or close-miked situations.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and does the Sennheiser transmitter need to be bought separately?

The package includes one lavalier microphone with a 3.5 mm TRS plug and one foam windscreen. The Sennheiser wireless transmitter is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which connector version should I choose for my EW100 G3 or ME2 system?

Select the 3.5 mm TRS version with the threaded screw-on cap; it matches the locking jack on EW100, EW300, EW500, SK and EK series transmitters including G1, G2, G3 and the ME2, ME3, ME4 capsules.

What does the 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio mean when I clip this mic on for a vlog?

A 60 dB signal-to-noise ratio indicates the microphone captures speech clearly above its own self-noise, so dialogue stays intelligible in typical indoor or outdoor vlogging environments.
