Conventional Green Coolant for Pre-2000 Vehicles
This Peak antifreeze uses an IAT formulation with ethylene glycol and a green dye. It is sold as a concentrated one-gallon bottle and meets ASTM D3306 and ASTM D4985 standards. The coolant provides freeze protection down to -34 degrees F and boil-over protection up to 325 degrees F.
Suited for Older Domestic Engines
It is designed for all pre-1989 GM, pre-1995 GM, pre-2000 Chrysler and pre-2002 Ford vehicles requiring conventional green coolant. Vehicles specifying OAT, HOAT or extended-life formulations should look at a different product type. The fluid carries a California Proposition 65 warning for a listed chemical.
Concentrated Formula Requires Dilution
The concentrate must be mixed with water before filling the cooling system. It offers a service life rating of two years or 50,000 miles. The biodegradable base formulation simplifies disposal compared to some alternatives. Ensure the cooling system is flushed and compatible with IAT chemistry before use.

Questions about this item
Which vehicles can use this Peak PKA0B3 concentrated green coolant?
It meets ASTM D3306 and ASTM D4985 and is specified for all pre-1989 GM, all pre-1995 GM, all pre-2000 Chrysler and all pre-2002 Ford vehicles.
Can I mix this coolant with older IAT fluid already in the system?
Yes, this is a conventional green IAT formulation, so it is compatible with the same IAT coolant used in those older GM, Chrysler and Ford applications.
How do I verify the concentrate is protecting to the rated temperatures after I fill the system?
Use a coolant hydrometer or refractometer; the mixture should show a freezing point of -34 °F and a boiling point of 325 °F when correctly diluted.
