Peerless Grade 100 Alloy Chain 15 ft

This 15 foot Peerless chain is made from Grade 100 alloy steel with a black Thermadep finish. It is designed for overhead lifting applications where a high working load limit is required. The welded straight links provide consistent strength across the full 15 foot length.

Suitable for rigging and lifting within the rated

This chain suits professionals who need a 15,000 lb working load limit in a 15 foot assembly. It is not for buyers who require a longer continuous length or a different trade size than 1/2 inch. Users needing end fittings must source hooks or master links separately as none are included.

Working load limit 15,000 lb

The decisive specification is the 15,000 lb working load limit backed by Grade 100 alloy construction. This rating determines whether the chain meets the safety factor for a specific lifting task. Verify the load requirement before purchase as the limit is fixed by the chain grade and trade size.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 15 ft Grade 100 alloy steel chain and what step is often missed?

Connect using fittings rated for 1/2 in trade size and 15,000 lb working load limit; the step often missed is verifying the fitting thickness matches the 17/32 in material thickness before loading.

What maintenance or replacement will the welded straight-link chain need over time?

Inspect each welded link for elongation, gouges, or corrosion; replace the chain if any link exceeds allowable wear or shows heat damage to the black Thermadep finish.

What limit appears first when the chain is used continuously at its 15,000 lb working load limit?

The 15,000 lb working load limit is the primary limit; sustained loading at this rating leaves no margin for shock or angle loading, so the limit is reached immediately.
