What this camera delivers

The Pelco IXP51 Sarix is a 5 MP H.264 indoor day night fixed box IP camera designed for professional security installations. It captures clear footage in changing light conditions without an integrated lens, so installers can select the exact optic the site requires. Power over Ethernet and 24 V input simplify wiring for new builds and retrofits alike.

Installation notes and common pitfalls

Mount the box, attach a compatible CS-mount lens, and connect the single network cable for both data and PoE power. The camera streams at 12 IPS, so storage and bandwidth planning must account for that fixed frame rate. Buyers who need integrated optics or higher frame rates should look elsewhere.
