Watertight Crushproof Protection

The Pelican 1650 wheeled dry case provides watertight, crushproof and dust proof storage for sensitive equipment. Its open cell core with solid wall design keeps the case strong yet lightweight. An automatic pressure equalisation valve balances internal pressure during altitude changes. Stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors add security.

Interior Dimensions 72.5 x 44.5 x 27 cm

The usable interior measures 28.57 x 17.52 x 10.65 inches, which is the single specification that determines whether your gear fits. Pick N Pluck foam lets you customise the cavity to match exact equipment shapes. Buyers who need a smaller or larger internal volume must choose a different case size.

Wheeled Transport With Retractable Handle

Strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings and a retractable extension handle allow one-person transport of heavy loads. Double Throw latches open easily but require firm pressure to seal the O-ring correctly. The rubber over-moulded handle provides a comfortable grip for short carries.

Questions about this item

How much usable depth does the 10.65-inch interior give me for gear?

The 10.65-inch interior depth lets you stack equipment or foam layers up to that height before the lid closes.

What does the Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve actually do on this case?

It lets air pass while blocking water, so the case stays sealed during altitude or temperature changes without vacuum lock.

Will the 31.59-inch exterior length fit in my vehicle's cargo area?

At 31.59 inches long, the case needs that much clear floor space plus room for the retractable handle to extend.
