Compact sling for daily carry

The Pelican Aegis SX3 is a small padded waist and cross-body sling bag built for people who want a minimal protective carrier for everyday essentials. It uses 500D Cordura fabric and YKK zippers to handle constant use in changing conditions.

Water-resistant shell and quick-release buckles

The bag’s water-resistant materials shed rain and splashes during normal outdoor use. Slide-release buckles allow fast one-handed access while keeping the main compartment secure when worn across the chest or at the waist.

Modular interior with moulded protection

Internal organisation options let users arrange small gear such as electronics, tools or documents in a custom layout. Super-durable EVA-moulded panels add structure and cushion impacts without adding bulk.

Questions about this item

How do I adjust the slide-release buckles so the sling sits securely across my body?

Thread the strap through the buckle, pull until the bag rests high on your back, then press the side tabs to lock it — skipping the lock step lets the strap creep loose.

What part of the Pelican Aegis SX3 will wear out first and need replacement?

The YKK zipper teeth and slider see the most cycles; grit can jam them, so clean with a brush and apply zipper lubricant annually.

At what point does the 500D Cordura fabric stop shedding water during a long downpour?

The DWR coating repels rain for the first hour or two; after prolonged saturation the face fabric wets out and moisture can seep through seams.
