Product identity

The Pendaflex Essentials 42-BLU pack supplies 25 hanging file folder tabs with blue tabs and white inserts. They are designed for office workers and home organisers who need to label suspended folders quickly.

Build and daily use

Each tab is made from pliable plastic that slides onto standard hanging folders without tools. Blank white inserts let users write or print custom headings up to three lines deep. The blue colour matches Pendaflex hanging folders for a consistent look.

Practical limits

The 1/5 tab cut provides a narrower label area than wider tab styles, so very long titles may not fit. Users who need more than 25 tabs in a single project will require additional packs. No adhesive or fastening hardware is included.

Questions about this item

What tab width does the 1/5 cut provide on these 42-BLU tabs?

The 1/5 cut divides the folder width into five equal tabs, so each tab covers one-fifth of the hanging folder’s top edge.

What folder system do the blue tabs and white inserts match?

They are colour-matched to standard Pendaflex hanging file folders that use the same 1/5 tab spacing.

How do you insert the blank white label into the blue tab without bending it?

Slide the insert straight down the centre channel of the pliable plastic tab until it seats fully; forcing it from an angle creases the card.
