Violet hanging folders for letter filing

These 25 violet hanging folders use 11 pt stock to handle everyday letter-size paperwork. The colour coding helps teams separate projects, departments or priority levels at a glance. Each box ships with matching PVC-free tabs and blank white inserts ready for labelling. The acid-free material protects documents from yellowing over time.

Simple rod-on-rail setup

The coated hanging rods slide onto standard drawer rails without tools, so a single person can refit a cabinet in minutes. Tabs snap into the pre-cut notches on the folder top edge and stay aligned during frequent access. The only common snag is forcing a tab backwards, which can bend the insert; seat it front-to-back and it locks flat.

Letter-size drawer constraint

These folders fit letter-width rails only; legal or A4 drawers will leave the rods unsupported. The 11 pt stock resists normal handling but will crease if overstuffed beyond the tab depth. Acid-free construction slows deterioration yet does not replace climate-controlled storage for archival-grade requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 11 pt stock folders slide properly after hanging them?

Slide each folder along the coated rods; smooth, even movement without catching shows the hanging mechanism is working as intended.

What comes in the box of the 81611 and what must I supply myself?

The box contains 25 violet folders, color-matched PVC-free tabs and blank white inserts; you supply the hanging rail or drawer frame.

Which tab configuration should I choose for letter-size color coding?

The 1/5-cut tabs give five staggered positions per box, ideal for detailed letter-size color-coded sections.
