Pentel 0.7 mm B Grade Lead Refills

These 0.7 mm B grade leads fit mechanical pencils that take medium point refills. The box contains 144 pieces, giving a long supply for daily writing or drawing. Each Super Hi-Polymer stick writes as far as a whole wooden pencil. The formulation produces crisp lines of consistent darkness, smoothness and density.

Break-resistant polymer core for clean use

The Super Hi-Polymer material resists snapping under normal pressure, so fewer leads break while you work. This reduces waste and keeps the page free of stray graphite dust. The consistent density means the line weight stays even from the first stroke to the last. No special handling is required beyond normal mechanical pencil use.

Replaces standard 0.7 mm HB or softer leads

Users who find HB too light or prone to smudging will notice darker, more defined marks with the B grade. The upgrade is worth it when you need stronger contrast for notes, sketches or technical drawings. Each 12-piece tube equals 12 wooden pencils, so the 144-count box covers high-volume needs. Buyers who want harder grades or larger diameter leads should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 0.7 mm leads into my mechanical pencil without jamming?

Open the pencil's lead sleeve, drop each 0.7 mm stick straight down the barrel, then advance the mechanism slowly; forcing a bent stick causes the most jams.

When will I need to buy another 144-count box of B-grade leads?

Each 0.7 mm stick writes as far as a whole wooden pencil, so a 144-count box lasts through roughly 144 pencils' worth of writing.

How many leads can I write with before the tube runs out?

The box contains 144 leads; a 12-piece tube equals 12 wooden pencils, so the full box covers the same writing distance as 144 pencils.
