Professional Writing Tool

The Pentel Cometz AX119C is a .9 mm mechanical pencil sold in a 12-pack with blue barrels. Thick HB lead provides a no. 2 equivalent for soft, wide lines. A latex-free comfort grip reduces fatigue during long sessions. Retractable lead prevents messes when the pencil is stored.

Setup Check

Verify that .9 mm lead matches the line width required for your forms or drafting standards. Confirm the blue barrel colour suits your workplace colour-coding system. Ensure the fixed sleeve design fits any pencil holders or clips you already use. The pack supplies twelve units for team or personal stock.

Sustained Use

The lightweight barrel and latex-free grip maintain comfort during all-day writing tasks. Fixed sleeve construction reduces lead breakage under continuous pressure. Non-abrasive eraser removes marks without damaging paper over repeated corrections. Retractable tip stays protected inside pockets or bags between uses.

Questions about this item

Does the pack of 12 blue .9 mm Cometz pencils include spare leads or erasers, or must I buy refills separately?

The dozen pencils come ready to write with HB lead and a built-in non-abrasive eraser; refill leads and erasers are sold separately.

Should I choose the .9 mm HB version or a finer lead for everyday office notes?

The .9 mm HB lead gives a no. 2 equivalent line that is soft and wide, making it the standard choice for general writing tasks.

How does the .9 mm HB lead perform once the pencil is in daily use?

It produces a consistent, dark line comparable to a traditional no. 2 pencil, while the fixed sleeve and retractable tip reduce breakage and keep pockets clean.
