What this pen is for

The Pentel EnerGel RTX is a retractable roller ball pen built for everyday writing. Its quick-drying, acid-free ink suits students, office workers and left-handed writers who want clean lines without smudges. The pearl white barrel with a pink accent gives it a distinctive look on a desk.

The spec that decides fit

The 77 model number identifies this specific EnerGel RTX configuration with a pink ink colour and matching barrel accent. If your workflow needs a different ink shade or a capped design, this is not the correct part.

Install and common issues

Remove the cap, click the retractable mechanism and write — no setup required. The most common issue is the tip drying out if the pen is stored uncapped for long periods; always retract the tip after use to maintain ink flow.

Questions about this item

How does the liquid-gel blend perform on paper once the pen is in use?

The ink glides across the page without dragging and dries fast enough to avoid smears, even for left-handed writers.

What does the RTX retractable mechanism do for daily carry?

The tip retracts fully into the barrel so it will not mark pockets or bags when the pen is stored.

What are the barrel dimensions and clip style for fitting into a planner loop?

The pearl-white barrel carries a standard pocket clip that slides onto most planner covers or notebook edges.
