HB 0.5 mm lead refills, 30 per tube

These Pentel Super Hi-Polymer refills suit standard mechanical pencils taking 0.5 mm leads. Each tube contains thirty HB-grade sticks measuring 60 mm long. The patented formulation delivers a dark, consistent line with high break resistance. They are guaranteed to scan accurately on standardised test sheets.

Students and professionals using 0.5 mm mechanical

Writers who prefer softer or harder grades should choose a different lead degree. Anyone needing coloured leads or diameters other than 0.5 mm will not be served by this tube. The HB hardness matches a traditional #2 pencil for everyday writing and test marking.

HB hardness guaranteed to scan on tests

The HB grade produces a mark equivalent to a #2 pencil that scanning machines read reliably. This single specification determines whether the refills meet exam or form requirements. Softer or harder leads may not register correctly on the same equipment.
