Everyday Mechanical Pencil

The Pentel Icy is a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil sold as a dozen pack, each barrel finished in translucent ice with black trim. It feeds HB #2 black lead through a fixed sleeve and advances fresh graphite with a top-mounted push button. The set suits students, office workers or anyone who wants a ready supply of fine-line writing instruments.

Compatibility Check

Verify that 0.5 mm lead matches the line width you prefer for notes, forms or technical sketches. Confirm that HB hardness gives the darkness and smudge resistance your tasks require. Ensure the fixed sleeve length works with any templates, rulers or stencils you use regularly.

Build & Daily Use

The plastic barrel is lightweight and the translucent section lets you gauge remaining lead at a glance. A fixed sleeve protects the tip during transport but does not retract, so the point stays exposed when clipped to a pocket. Top-advance operation keeps the mechanism simple and reduces the chance of accidental feeding inside a bag.
