Pack of twelve mechanical pencils

The Pentel Icy 0.5 mm automatic pencils come in a pack of twelve black translucent barrels. The fine-point tip suits everyday writing and note-taking tasks. A latex-free ribbed grip reduces hand fatigue during long sessions. A metal pocket clip keeps each pencil secure when carried.

Refillable lead and eraser system

Each pencil accepts Pentel Super Hi-Polymer lead and PDE-1 erasers so only consumables need replacing. The top-click mechanism advances lead smoothly without interrupting workflow. A fixed sleeve protects the lead from snapping under pressure. Transparent barrels let you monitor remaining lead at a glance.

Lightweight plastic construction with fixed sleeve

The plastic barrel is light in the hand yet rigid enough for daily office or school use. The fixed sleeve reduces lead breakage, lowering long-term cost per pencil. Latex-free rubberised grip provides better control without triggering allergies. Metal clip and top-click action withstand repeated pocket carry and clicking.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the PDE-1 erasers on these pencils?

Erasers are refillable; replace a PDE-1 unit when it wears down to the metal ferrule.

What stops me from writing continuously with the .5 mm tip?

Lead length is the limit — the fixed sleeve protects the .5 mm tip, but you must top-click more Super Hi-Polymer lead when the reservoir empties.

Does the plastic barrel get warm or make noise during all-day use?

The lightweight plastic body and latex-free grip stay cool and silent; only the top-click mechanism produces a faint click each advance.
