PerfectVision Pipe Adapter for Slimline Dishes

This new steel adapter connects a Ka/Ku Slimline HD DIRECTV dish to an existing pipe. It is designed for installers and homeowners upgrading or repositioning satellite equipment. The heavy-duty 14 gauge construction provides a secure mounting point for the dish assembly.

Thermal and Power Characteristics

As a passive metal fitting the adapter generates no heat and requires no electrical power. It operates silently and adds no load to any power supply or circuit in the installation.

Build Integration and Compatibility

The adapter slides onto any existing pipe with an outside diameter of at least 2 1/4 inches and secures with the included bolts. It frees installers from replacing the mast when fitting a Slimline dish to a larger pole. Buyers needing a different pipe diameter or a non-Slimline dish mount cannot use this adapter.

Questions about this item

How do I install the adapter on an existing pipe and which step is often missed?

Slide the adapter lip over the existing pipe, making sure the pipe is at least 2 1/4 inches in diameter, then tighten the included bolts securely; the step often missed is confirming the pipe meets the minimum diameter before sliding the adapter on.

What maintenance or replacement will this adapter need over time?

The 14 gauge steel construction resists corrosion, so routine maintenance is limited to periodically checking bolt tightness and inspecting for rust; no scheduled replacement parts are required.

What is the first limit that appears under sustained outdoor exposure?

The 14 gauge steel can eventually develop surface corrosion if the protective coating is scratched, which is the first durability limit under long-term weather exposure.
