This module converts Fast Ethernet signals between multimode and single-mode fibre. It links a 100BASE-FX 1310 nm multimode SC interface up to 1.2 miles with a 100Base-BX single-strand SC interface up to 12.4 miles. Network engineers use it to extend 100 Mbps links across different fibre plants. It supports managed or unmanaged operation for flexible deployment.
