Perle S-110P-S2Sc40 Media Converter Mount

This Perle Systems mount secures a 10/100Base-TX media and rate converter that includes Power over Ethernet sourcing. It connects a copper RJ-45 segment up to 100 m or 328 ft to a single-mode SC fibre link reaching 40 km or 24.9 miles at 1310 nm. An AC power adapter with a USA power cord is included.

Suits network teams extending Ethernet over long

Teams needing PoE power sourcing on the copper side and a 40 km single-mode reach will use this mount. Buyers who require a different fibre connector type, a multi-mode variant, or a non-PoE converter should look at something else. The maximum frame size is 2048 bytes.

Single-mode SC reach of 40 km decides fit

The converter mounted here bridges 10/100 copper to 100Base-EX single-mode fibre at 1310 nm across 40 km. If the link distance or the SC single-mode interface does not match the installation, this is not the right part.
