Philips Ampligame H3 50mm RGB Headset

The Philips Ampligame H3 is a wired gaming headset built around 50mm dynamic drivers and a 3.5mm audio jack. It targets players who want a single headset for PC, consoles and mobile devices without relying on wireless pairing or proprietary dongles.

3.5mm jack with USB-powered RGB lighting

The 3.5mm connector carries game audio and chat to any device with a standard headphone port, while a separate USB plug powers the RGB illumination only. A detachable microphone and an in-line volume control let you mute or adjust levels without opening software menus, and the bundled 3.5mm splitter separates headphone and microphone signals for PCs that use distinct jacks.

Passive isolation and 45mm driver unit for long

Passive noise cancellation from the over-ear earcups reduces ambient sound during extended play, and the adjustable headband distributes weight evenly. The 45mm driver unit reproduces a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range, delivering consistent bass, mid and high response without the compression artefacts that can appear during prolonged high-volume use.

Questions about this item

How long can I wear the 50mm driver headset before the ear cushions become uncomfortable?

The adjustable headband and soft earmuffs are designed for extended sessions, providing a pressure-free fit that remains comfortable hour after hour.

Does the RGB lighting on the headset draw extra power from the 3.5mm jack or need a separate USB connection?

The USB connector supplies power for the RGB lighting only; audio runs through the 3.5mm jack, so the headset stays cool and draws no extra power from the audio port.

Which of my devices already has the 3.5mm port this headset requires?

The 3.5mm jack works with PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation controllers, and most phones or tablets that still include a 3.5mm socket.
