Recording pen and AI transcription
The Philips DVT1600 is a slender digital recorder pen with 32 GB of internal storage. A 360° built-in microphone captures voices from every direction in clear audio quality. One-touch recording starts instantly so no spoken detail is missed. Sembly AI cloud software converts uploaded files into searchable text automatically.
Meetings and mobile dictation
Professionals who attend frequent meetings, lectures or interviews will value the pen form factor and hands-free note-taking. Users who need on-device transcription without an internet connection or who require expandable memory should consider other devices. The fixed 32 GB capacity also limits very long multi-day sessions.
129 hours of recording time
The recorder stores up to 129 h of audio on its internal memory before files must be off-loaded. This single figure determines whether a full conference day or a week of dictation fits without interruption. USB-C charging keeps the pen ready for the next session.

Questions about this item
How do I start recording on the DVT1600 and what is the step people often miss?
Press the one-touch record button once to begin; the step people miss is pressing it a second time to stop and save the file, otherwise the recording stays open.
What maintenance or replacement will the DVT1600 need later?
The built-in battery is rechargeable via USB-C; when it no longer holds a charge the whole unit must be replaced because the battery is not user-serviceable.
What limit appears first during a long meeting with the DVT1600?
The internal 32 GB storage fills after about 129 hours of recording, so that capacity ceiling is reached before the battery runs out.
