Philips LW-700 DLP Replacement Lamp 100-120W
The Philips LW-700 is a new DLP replacement lamp rated at 100-120W with a 6000 hour lamp life. It is built for owners of compatible Hitachi rear-projection televisions needing a direct replacement. The lamp uses Philips UHP UltraBrite technology. It arrives as a new unit from an authorised Philips UHP reseller.
Who this suits and who should look elsewhere
This lamp suits owners of Hitachi models 70VS810 and 70VX915 requiring a genuine Philips UHP replacement. Buyers with televisions from other brands or different Hitachi model numbers should look elsewhere. It is not a universal fit for all DLP sets. Verify your specific model before ordering.
Deciding specification: LW-700 compatibility
The single specification that decides fit is the confirmed compatibility with Hitachi models 70VS810 and 70VX915. The lamp replaces part references UX-21515, UX21515, LC-48 and LC48. If your television is not one of these listed models, this lamp will not work.

Questions about this item
Does the LW-700 lamp arrive as a bare bulb or inside a housing?
It is supplied as a complete lamp module with housing, so no separate cage or tools are required for installation.
How do I know whether my Hitachi set needs the 100 W or 120 W version?
The LW-700 covers the 100-120 W range in one unit; it replaces UX-21515, UX21515, LC-48 and LC48 used in the 70VS810 and 70VX915 models.
What does the 6000 hour rating mean for daily viewing?
At four hours per day the rated life works out to roughly four years before brightness drops to half its initial level.
