Professional Touring Lamp

The Philips MSD Platinum 20RB 323741 is a short-arc discharge lamp built for professional moving-head fixtures in stage and touring environments. It serves lighting designers and rental houses that need reliable output for beam, spot and hybrid units during live shows and installations.

Operational Limits

Rated life reaches 1,500 hours before 50 percent of units fail, so production schedules must plan for relamping on extended runs. The lamp operates in any universal position and supports dimmable output, but the fixed 470 W power draw and 8000 K colour temperature cannot be altered to suit different fixtures or colour-mixing needs.

Fixture Compatibility

This lamp fits only the specific moving heads listed by the manufacturer, including Clay Paky Mythos and Super Sharpy, Acme XP-20R and XP-470 models, Elation Platinum FLX, Terbly G12 series, Jolly X-5 Couple and Fine Art FINE 470 units. Buyers with other fixture types cannot use this part.
