Wired Over-Ear Headphones with Dual Plug

Philips over-ear stereo headphones connect through a 3.5 mm jack and include a snap-on 6.3 mm adapter for professional audio equipment. The 2 m cable gives freedom of movement while the lightweight adjustable headband is built for extended listening sessions in studio, DJ or home environments.

Open-Back Design and Rotating Earcups

Open-back 40 mm neodymium drivers deliver a wide 10 to 230 Hz frequency response for detailed sound reproduction. Circumaural earcups rotate 90 degrees for single-ear monitoring and the padded cushions improve comfort while enhancing bass response during long mixing or tracking sessions.

Passive Isolation and Analogue Connection

Passive noise isolation from the circumaural seal reduces ambient sound without active circuitry or power requirements. The wired analogue connection eliminates latency and battery concerns, while the open-back architecture allows natural sound dispersion at the cost of sound leakage in quiet surroundings.

Questions about this item

How does the 2 m cable hold up when the headphones are worn for hours at a time?

The fixed 2 m cable is designed for free range of movement, and the lightweight headband reduces fatigue during long sessions.

Do the 40 mm open-back drivers leak sound or run hot during all-day use?

The open-back design allows air to flow through the 40 mm drivers, keeping them cool and preventing heat build-up during extended listening.

Will the 3.5 mm plug with the snap-on 6.3 mm adapter fit my audio interface or mixer?

Yes, the 3.5 mm plug and included 6.3 mm snap-on adapter cover both common jack sizes found on interfaces, mixers and portable devices.
