What this is

The Philips WFL900/H is a wireless on-ear headband that combines headphones, sleep mask, hair band and wrist band in one soft fabric wrap. It is built for side sleepers, shift workers and anyone who wants audio in bed without earbuds pressing on the ear.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

The flat speakers sit near the ears while the control module rests on the forehead, so there is zero pressure when lying on a side or back. Buyers who want active noise cancellation, a traditional over-ear fit or a detachable cable for wired listening will not find those features here.

Deciding specification

The 250 mAh battery delivers up to 17 hours of playback and recharges in 1.5 to 2 hours via USB-C, with a red-to-blue indicator showing charge status. The 32 ohm drivers and 80 ohm input impedance provide stable Bluetooth stereo sound up to 60 feet for music, calls or white noise.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm connector on this headband work with my older MP3 player?

The 3.5 mm connector is present on the module, but the specification lists wireless Bluetooth as the audio interface, so wired playback is not a stated function.

How can I confirm the headband is charging correctly?

The indicator light shows red while charging and turns blue once the 250 mAh battery is fully charged after roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The package includes the headband with integrated speakers and a USB-C charging cable; any standard USB power source will charge the unit.
