Open-Ear Bone Conduction Design

The Philips WFL900/H uses bone conduction drivers to send audio through the cheekbones, leaving the ear canals completely open. This open-ear approach lets runners, cyclists and commuters hear traffic and ambient sound while listening to music or taking calls. The lightweight behind-the-ear frame stays secure during high-intensity movement and works comfortably with glasses, hats or helmets.

Bluetooth 5.4 and 32 GB Local Storage

Pair the headphones with a phone or tablet using Bluetooth 5.4, which also supports multipoint connection for two devices at once. A 3.5 mm connector is available for wired use when wireless is not wanted. The built-in 32 GB memory holds up to 7000 songs, so you can leave the phone behind and switch to MP3 mode with a touch control.

IPX6 Sweatproof and Extended Battery Life

An IPX6 rating protects the headset against heavy sweat and light rain during workouts or outdoor commutes. The internal battery delivers up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, while the charging case extends total operating time to 17.5 hours. Standby reaches 300 hours, so the set is ready for daily sessions without frequent recharging.

Questions about this item

Does the Philips WFL900/H ship with any cables or adapters, or is the 3.5 mm connector built into the headset?

The headset includes a 3.5 mm connector for wired use and a charging cable; no separate audio cable or adapter is required.

Should I rely on the internal 32 GB storage or use Bluetooth 5.4 streaming for my workouts?

The 32 GB memory holds roughly 7000 songs for phone-free MP3 playback, while Bluetooth 5.4 gives stable streaming up to 33 feet when you prefer to keep your device close.

What does the 17.5-hour total operating time mean for a typical training week?

You get about 10 hours of continuous play per charge and up to 300 hours on standby, so a single charge covers several long sessions before you need to plug in.
